After initial exam triages patients to the appropriate physicians. Follows patients through continuum of care to optimize adherence to clinical protocols. Participates in clinical case conferences. Makes rounds on the programs surgical patients to intervene as necessary, patients on outpatient spine care services, and facilitate other services, i.e. discharge planning. Case manages the spine patient as a case load through the system to ensure quality and effectiveness/efficiencies of care with the goal being an overall positive patient experience and outcome. Oversees and manages outcome database and develops quality indicator reports for quarterly review.
