| Large acute care hospital with state-of-the-art equipment needs Nurse Manager of Med-Surg and Oncology. This person administers the managerial functions of setting objectives, planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating the activities of the patient care areas, to produce excellence in all aspects of service, outcome and cost. Supervises RNs, LPNs, PCTs, unit secretary, monitor technicians, volunteers, students, social workers and other technical employees. The successful candidate must have BSN or BA/BS in health related field or contract for completion date of same. MBA, MSN, MHA or other related masters degree preferred. Current Florida RN license. Nursing administration certification or certified in clinical area assigned preferred. Clinical expertise in specialty area, leadership experience, demonstrated ability to function effectively in supervisory capacity. 2 yrs as a manager of multiple units/departments and demonstrated ability in mentor role preferred. Interpersonal, leadership/managerial skills, organizational skills, problem solving. Refer to Job# 816E.
