Primary responsibilities include the leadership and mentoring of 15 certified coding staff as well as, directing all aspects of coding department including coding, abstracting and billing using ICD-9 and CPT-4 systems. Anesthesia experience is NOT mandatory, BUT MUST have a minimum of three years experience plus certification from Academy of Procedural Coders.
