Experience providing hospital coding audits and coding training; educating nursing staff and patient care staff on documentation requirements to meet coding requirements; and, performing chargemaster reviews/interviews. Must have solid communication and report writing skills. Must be able to speak to audiences on coding and reimbursement related topics. Provide nationwide clients hospital inpatient and outpatient coding audits and training; and educating nursing staff and patient care staff on documentation requirements to meet coding requirements. Those with chargemaster review skills will also perform chargemaster reviews and interviews. Monday-Friday consulting to client facilities nationwide (mainly Midwest and east coast). Can live near any Midwest or east metro airport. Salary will go up if you have CDM knowledge.

This health system seeks a Hospital Outpatient Coding Manager, a qualified individual to manage its large teaching hospital's outpatient coding services.
