Be Proactive

When you are hunting for a new job, you must be proactive and deliberate in your approach. You must examine what the market is looking for, consider alternatives, be open to different opportunities and have an action plan formulated.

Create an Action Plan. By creating an action plan, you are able to ensure that you are doing everything possible to find a better opportunity. The action plan should include a "to do" list, a notes section and a completion date. You can use our sample Job Search Checklist to ensure that you are meeting your goals.

Look elsewhere. Companies are looking for Healthcare and Medical Professionals all over the world. It may be time to consider a different area of interest if you are not able to find a position in your preferred destinations. This means looking in other parts of the region and/or country.

Be Diverse. If you are dead set on using one approach (i.e. only reading journals for your next opportunity), you will not be able to see the full picture of what is available. Your approach should be well diversified and incorporate different forms of media (i.e. internet, journals, etc.) to ensure that you are getting the most out of your search.

Get Representation. Most job seekers are very busy, are currently employed, and are looking for greener pastures.  Working with a Professional Recruiter who represents your best interests will ensure that you get exactly what you are looking for, save you more time, and ultimately make your job search better. Professional Recruiters do not charge fees to you for their service. This means that you are able to work with an expert and not worry about having to pay out of your pocket for their guidance.

Sign up today and start working with StaffPointe. By working with a Professional Recruiter, we will help you find whatever it is that you are looking for. There is never a fee for our services for Healthcare and Medical Professionals seeking employment.
