  • How important is this position to your organization?
  • How long has this position been open?
  • Is there upward mobility?
  • May I speak with other employees that are serving in similar roles?
  • What are your peak volumes for the department?
  • Who is my supervisor?
  • How will you measure my performance?
  • Is travel required?
  • Are you offering a sign on bonus or relocation reimbursement?
  • Are you expanding into other areas?
  • What is your organization known for?
  • What is the call schedule?
  • How long is your training program?
  • Do you offer reimbursement for education (CEU"s, College, etc.)?

For Physicians:

  • Is there a partnership track?
  • Do you pay for malpractice?
  • What types of patients will I be seeing?

For Nurses:

  • What types of patients will I normally see?
  • What is the patient to nurse ratio for this department?
