Use a Healthcare Recruiter

MYTH: If you don't use a Recruiter, you will make more money.

  • This is one of the oldest myths within the industry. Healthcare Organizations do not pay you less if you use a Recruiting Service and the fees are paid out of their recruiting budgets. Often times you make more because they are able to negotiate a higher compensation package.

A Professional Recruiter can be the best friend that you have in the job search process. Most Recruiters are seasoned, experienced, and fully understand the dynamics of the industry. It is always best to work with a company who focuses in the Healthcare field and have recruiters who are specialize in your area of expertise.

A Professional Recruiter is one who does not charge fees and represents opportunities from multiple employers. They are your representative, your agent, and your Career Coach.

Be Honest. The worst thing that you can do is lie to a Professional Recruiter. If you lie to a Recruiter they will not represent you any longer.

Be Specific. It is often best to be straightforward and to the point with a Recruiter. You will be able to develop a better relationship and rapport if you were to say "I want to go to Dallas, Texas" instead of "I am open to going anywhere".

Be Professional. You will have a higher success rate with a Medical Recruiter if you are courteous and professional at all times. If you are rude, they  will not represent you.

Be Open. You should consider their advice just as you would if you were to speak with your Attorney.
