| This hospital seeks a CPCU RN with a minimum 1 years experience with adult cardiovascular patients in the cardiac stepdown setting, to include open heart 1st day post-op to discharge. Proficient in cardiac monitoring analysis and intervention, use of antiarrhythmic, inotropic and vasopressor drips, femoral sheath management. CPCU is a 10+ bed unit accepting adult cardiovascular patients, to include MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post PCI, 1st day post-op open hearts etc. 1:4 RN to patient ratio, with help of PCT on 7-3 and 3-11 shifts. Unit secretary/monitor tech on all shifts. 7P-7A, 12 hour shift. No call. Expected to float as needed to ICU. Computer Charting/Meditech Software. | This hospital seeks an ICU RN with 1 year of adult ICU experience and 1 year of open heart experience required. Proficient in the use of hemodyanmic and cardiac rhythm monitoring - analysis and intervention, sue of the Intraaortic balloon pump, ventilators, inotropic, antiarrhythmic and vasopressive drips. ACLS required. 10+ bed adult ICU - no patients accepted under the age of 12 years. Accepts general medical/surgical critical care patients as well as cardiovascular, to include open hearts. Nurse to patient ratio for ICU is 1:1 or 1:2. All RN staff. Unit secretary/monitor tech for each shift. 7P-7A, 12 hour shift. No call. Expected to float as needed to CPCU.
