Clinical expertise in specialty area, leadership experience, demonstrated ability to function effectively in supervisory capacity. 2 yrs as a manager of multiple units/departments and demonstrated ability in mentor role preferred. Interpersonal, leadership/managerial skills, organizational skills, problem solving, computer skills and customer service skills required.

The Clinical Documentation Consultant will assess, implement & educate health nursing, HIM, and other healthcare professionals including physicians in hospitals/health systems in a clinical approach to improving documentation, ensuring compliance & managing DRG assignments. Must have strong clinical documentation, coding/DRG and organizational skills with an exceptional ability to interact with people. RN, RHIA or RHIT with five (5) years inpatient coding/documentation compliance. No relocation is required but must live near large metro airport with travel Sunday-Friday. Salary plus bonus.
