program. Collaborate with appropriate members of the healthcare team and ensure
coordination of patient care along the health care continuum. Ensure the patient
outcomes are achieved and ensure that variances from established parameters are
evaluated and addressed. Coordinates in and outpatient care including: arranging
appropriate anesthesia, ensuring timely transfer of patient to and from
neurosurgical intensive care unit, liaising with neurosurgical service to ensure
proper care of interventional neuroradiology patients and arranging
admission/discharge of patients in neurosurgical intensive care unit. Assist
interventional neuroradiologists in performing procedures. Performs history and
physical exams on all patients who are referred for procedures. In conjunction
with physician and administration develop materials for marketing to outside
provider/hospital referrals. Current Florida PA license with 1-2 yrs
interventional neuroradiology experience is required; prefer more than 3 yrs
experience as a PA. Effective communication skills with critical thinking and
decision making skills, with ability to coordinate services across continuum,
and strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills are necessary.
Salary $62K-$89K DOE. Full benefits package.
