New York
Well respected multispecialty group in southwestern New York has an immediate need for a BC/BE Noninvasive Cardiologist. This practice is adjacent to a 186 bed hospital and has on-site Echo, EKG, Lipid clinic, X-ray and Nuclear Stress. Salary is competitive and partnership eligibility is attained the first January after one full year. There are 34 physicians on staff and they work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Call is 1:3 but physician rarely goes in- usually consults only. Expect 3 weeks vacation; 1 week CME plus $2125 expense associated with travel and lodging. Insurances are paid by the group (health, life, disability, professional liability) and Tail (50% after 3 years, 75% after 4 years and 100% after 5). This area has also been designated an HPSA loan repayment area so physicians may be eligible for reimbursement. Relocation expenses are also covered by the group. Noninvasive Cardiologist needed in southern Florida. No caths or stents. Reading vascular studies a bonus. Prefers nuclear skills also. Has complete electronic medical records, super busy, wide referral base and reasonable buy-in. This is a 4.5 year old practice that is expanding to new building across from the hospital, large enough for 3 physicians. 3 years partnership (flexible). Physicians with nuclear and cath experience a plus! Diagnostic cardio, he is solo has all equipment, nuclear camera, stress, echo. Ideal is salaried employee and eventual partnership, but is flexible, if someone would do full time salaried and non partnership track that could also be an option. Call is every other night shared with client doctor, but is very light phone call, not rigorous, sometimes 4-5 consults a night at the most, but usually 0-1 consult per night. Almost never have to go in unless taking ER call at another hospital which is main hospital for heart attack.
