Hospitalist opportunity just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. Salary - $163,567 with potential for productivity bonus. Schedule - Week on - Week off (Tuesday to Monday), no vacation, but trades are allowed. Nights - (9p - 7a) work 1 week per 18 weeks. Evening shift - (2p - 12a) work 1 week per 18 weeks. Christmas or Thanksgiving off. Call day - 2 times a month. Work Day - 7:30am - 6:30pm (typical day). Share admissions except post call days. One-call person stays until 9:00 pm. Evening shift 2:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. Night works 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. NO ICU/Critical Care (24 hr. critical care intensivist) - Open ICU. Average 15 patients/day rounding. Average 1-3 admissions/day when NOT on call. Average 4-6 admissions/day when ON call. Average 6-8 admissions when on nights or evenings. All medical subspecialties available.
