In this position you will join 2 board certified colleagues and participate in a shared call arrangement. Practice offers a wide range of Pediatric Nephrology services. Pediatric peritoneal dialysis unit is opened. Hemodialysis and CVVH are provided. Renal transplantation is not performed on site, but the children return to the practice within week(s) of transplantation at a regional transplant center. Nephrologist for solo practice with 2 other solo Nephrologists in Indiana. Practice continues to grow rapidly with 115 patients on dialysis-which is a full-service renal practice with transplant follow-ups. Travel to 2-3 satellite 10 minutes up the road. Partner to take over the dialysis patients in the 2 satellites. The outpatient practice at the satellites will involve taking over 20 dialysis patients and 2-3 outpatient half days at satellite offices per month. The main office locations job involves 3 afternoon clinics a week. This is in addition to inpatient work at the main hospital. Call 1:2. Position is for someone who likes to work independently/grow his own practice. The rewards are unlimited financially. The right candidate has a choice of 2 compensation packages. 1-First salary with overheads paid, good for 2 years followed by a salary plus bonus package. Partnership at the end of the 2 year phased in at fair market practice and value as evaluated by an independent evaluator. 2- Keep what you make less overhead expenses. Overhead expenses run from 30-40% of income depending on collections/management expenses. One is likely to make more money over a 2 year period with a keep what you collect package. At the peak of your practice with this model in about 4 years earnings can be as high as $400,000 depending on how much work/quality of work one does. Cost of ownership/partnership with this model is low. All new consults and new ESRD patients will go to you for at least 6 months to help develop your practice if you choose the keep what you collect minus expenses package.
