Hematologist/Oncologist needed on Florida's east coast. BC MD's needed to join 5 other Hem/Onc in a group of 98 physicians. Call 1:5. Work 5 days with 15-25 patients per day in office. Census of approx. 20 patients daily in the hospital (total for dept). 540 bed hospital within walking distance provides radiation therapy. Chemotherapy performed on site. Ancillary services include sophisticated state certified laboratory, radiology and nuclear medicine departments, rehab services, MRI, CT SCAN, PET Scan, DEXA scan and IV therapy. Productivity based bonus formula for all physicians; base salary plus bonus for first 2 years; then partnership. $175K probable base. Full benefits including retirement plan, 200K life insurance, malpractice insurance, 4 weeks paid vacation, CME with stipend and dental, etc.

California
Two Medical Oncologists are needed in Los Angeles, California. The two positions are to join this medical oncology division: one to focus on genitourinary cancer and the second to focus on melanoma/developmental therapeutics, to develop innovative programs in cancer treatment and research. The successful candidates will be appointed at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Medicine. They offer a competitive salary package with excellent benefits, outstanding infrastructural research support and high-quality laboratory space in a newly constructed 175,000 sq. ft. facility. There is a tower dedicated solely to cancer research. The patient population is diverse and provides an outstanding environment for clinical research including the conduct of clinical trials. Significant growth in clinical and translational research, in laboratory space resources and in faculty recruitment will occur in the next decade as a high priority. Candidates must be board-certified (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine and board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology. A background in clinical and translational research is essential and the potential for peer-reviewed clinical or laboratory funding is required.

A Medical Oncologist is needed in northwest Texas with this extensive hospital system which provides clinical excellence to the Texas Panhandle and the tri-state area. The Oncology Department has 40 dedicated adult oncology beds, along with a committed nursing staff providing the best in cancer care. The average nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, and since 2003, there has been an increase from 21 to 30 Oncology trained nurses. The inpatient cancer care unit is accredited by the Commission on Cancer. The Cancer Program received full approval based on compliance with the 36 standards, which are assessed by the Commission on Cancer. A Radiation Oncologist is needed to lead the a division of breast radiation medicine in upstate New York. Applicants should be board certified and academically oriented with a strong interest in education, research (basic, translational or clinical) and patient care. The breast cancer program currently has over 40 clinicians and clinical scientists, is located in a new cancer hospital within a 25 acre research facility and is organized to promote multi-disciplinary collaboration. The department currently has a complement of 10 Radiation Oncologists. The state-of-the-art clinical facility was opened in 1998 and is equipped with 4 duel energy Linacs with portal imaging (including Varian Clinac - 2100 Ex units with 120 leaf MLC), Orthovoltage suite, Gamma Knife suite, GE CT simulator and Eclipse/Oncentra treatment planning systems. An intraoperative HDR brachytherapy suite/recovery room is located within the department as well. Training programs include an ACGME accredited residency, dosimetry, therapy, medical physics and fellowships. The department participates in clinical trials through the RTOG, CALGB, NSABP, GOG and CCG. Founded in 1898, this facility is a member of the prestigious National Comprehensive Cancer Network and is the nation's first cancer research, treatment and education center. This is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center upstate New York. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Missouri
A Hematologist Oncologist is needed in central Missouri. This is a great opportunity for a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to join this hospital's cancer center. They are in the process now of building a new cancer center, complete with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and outpatient imaging. The current oncologist is board certified in both hematology and oncology and takes care of a variety of patients including those with leukemia, and has practice of approximately 30% hematology and 70% oncology. This hospital is also very active in clinical trials through its affiliation with the University of Missouri.
