California
Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician needed east of Los Angeles in California. Work 70% of the time in house ICU at primarily one facility with a 36 bed ICU. Community hospital with kidney and pancreas transplants, open hearts (approximately 400+ cases a year), neuro surgery, level two trauma. The hospital is offering the person who accepts this position Director of ICU position within 6 months. In addition to ICU service, practice has two to three hospital consults daily. 30% outpatient pulmonary, currently at about 11 function studies a week, but this can be expanded as they are turning down business, most in office procedures the practice does do in office. Additional perks beyond the Directorship of the Intensive Care Unit are opportunity to teach at University of Riverside Medical School (2 year students) in clinical pathology and organ systems, phase three research studies, etc. Base Compensation/income guarantee (not including the ICU Director stipend) is $250,000 + 40% of everything earned over $600,000 collected, malpractice, disability, health, pension plan, vacation time and CME time.

Texas
Pulmonologist/CC physician needed in Texas. Well-established private practice seeks to replace a third Pulm/CC physician for primarily hospital-based practice with some clinic work in office attached to the hospital. Call is 1:3. Partnership opportunity after 2nd year with everything equally divided. Hospital supported first year income guarantee against collections and full benefits package. Candidate needs to be board certified or board eligible if planning to take the board exam at the next scheduled time. Must have an excellent work ethic and communications skills. Active Texas license or in process preferred.

New York
Pulmonology/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine physician needed close to New York City. Located in one of the fastest growing communities in New York state, just 90 minutes from Manhattan, a very well respected Internist/Critical Care/Pulmonologist with a thriving practice has formed a joint venture with his affiliated medical center for the development of a sleep center. Center will be up and running within 6 months subsequent to the physician joining this practice. In the nearby counties having sleep labs, (there are no sleep centers), there is a 6 to 8 week appointment backlog. Offer will consist of: 1st year base salary of $180,000 plus physician will be paid 50% of all collections received based on his personal activity in excess of the first 200K. Year 2 base salary of $200,000 plus bonuses. Upon completion of the second year of employment, physician will be extended a 50% partnership opportunity into the existing practice, to include the sleep center. The practice will have a 70% ownership in the sleep center. Comprehensive benefit program to include fully paid malpractice insurance.

Pulmonologist needed in great community south of St. Louis. Be the only Pulmonologist in this area for a goldmine of a practice. This can be either an employed position with the multispecialty group or be independent with a 2 year income guarantee with benefits. A second Pulmonologist will be recruited once the practice is up and running.
