Urgent Care physician needed in Florida's panhandle. Clinical urgent care setting. Hours of operation are 7:30 am - 7:00 pm M - F, Saturday 8 am - 1:00 pm. Physicians work with 1 physician assistant and 1 nurse practitioner. Physician should be able to provide urgent care type services. The Immediate Care Department is specifically designed to provide care for patients of medical center who can not be seen by their regular physician, same day care. Strictly urgent care services Call - 1:3 (currently). Multispecialty group setting, board certified or eligible (leading to boards). Employee leading to shareholder status - Contract - 2 year w/bonus potential. Bonus formula - 50% - net practice income minus expenses, including salary, benefits - malpractice, dues (maximum up to $750/yr), health/life/disability insurance, PTO (paid time off 19 days per year), 5 CME days, $2,000 stipend for CME expenses per contract year, Pension/profit sharing (when eligible, after 1st year). Louisiana
Health sciences center in Louisiana is in need of an Academic Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon. The department of surgery is seeking a board certified General Surgeon with post-residency training in trauma/critical care to be a member of the division of trauma/critical care surgery at health sciences center in Louisiana. This full time trauma/critical care faculty position will be at an academic level commensurate with the candidate's experience and academic achievement. The medical center serves an urban and rural population of 2.5 million encompassing 25,000 square miles in Louisiana, east Texas and southwestern Arkansas. Emergency department has approximately 50,000 visits per year of which 10,600 are for trauma. There are 1,200 admissions to the trauma service per year of which 74% are blunt injuries, 24% penetrating and 2% burns. The hospital has a 22 bed surgical intensive care unit with 1456 admissions per year. If desired there is an opportunity to do general surgery. The resources for basic and clinical research in trauma/critical care here are outstanding. There are numerous opportunities for collaborative clinical and basic science research within and outside of the department of surgery. Within the medical school there is a small animal PET scanner that provides the unique opportunity for in-vivo study of metabolic changes and gene expression.

Work rotating shift of 3 twelve hour days on with 4 days off! 3 physicians and 2 PA's are present at any given time with 35 patients per practitioner seen per 12 hour shift. This is an employed position offering salary of $140,000, plus a $10,000 sign on bonus and a full benefits package.

A critical access hospital in central West Virginia is seeking a BC/BE Family Practitioner. Each month there will be fourteen (14), twelve (12) hour shifts. Physician may admit to the IP beds. The practitioner may see patients by appointment during scheduled shifts or as walk-ins. Also, long-term care patients may be followed. The compensation package for this position is approximately 150K, depending upon qualifications and experience, with a 50K signing bonus. The Urgent Care department of 500+ physician owned multispecialty group is actively recruiting a Family Practice or IM/Peds physician. Each physician works a 7-8 hour shift with rotating hours, 4 weekdays per week and every other weekend. The expected patient visits per day are between 25 and 30. Excellent compensation leading to shareholder status after 2 years. All hospital admissions are handled at the hospital, a JCAHO accredited 256 bed facility adjoining the clinic.
