Job Description

Orthopedic Surgeon is needed in southeastern Minnesota. Join a 120 physician multispecialty group with a 61 bed hospital and 10 outlying branch clinics. There are currently 2 full-time Orthopedic Surgeons on staff. Due to high demand there is a need to add a third surgeon. Work 2 days per week in the O/R and three days in the office. The average number of patients per clinician per day is 25-30. There is a 2 year income guarantee of $300k; but can move into productivity based income in as little as 6 months. There is plenty to do here with the enormous parks system which consists of over 3500 acres of park land. There is 60+ miles of trails, numerous playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic shelters, outdoor pools, a beach, horseshoe courts, ball and soccer fields, basketball courts, dog parks, sand volleyball courts, an archery range, cross country ski trails. The city is home to 16 elementary schools, 8 secondary/high schools, 7 parochial schools and 1 private school. There are also opportunities for advanced education at one of the 10 colleges and universities that offer advanced degrees.
