Job Description

Internal Medicine physician needed in Minnesota. Medical center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Internist for their multispecialty clinic. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Staffing includes 8 clinicians, RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants. The internal medicine department is the medical centers testing center for cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, 24 hour cardiac Holter monitoring, pulmonary function tests, peripheral vascular tests, and ultrasound bone density screening. Call is supported by a full-time hospitalist. There is plenty to do here with the enormous parks system which consists of over 3500 acres of park land. There is 60+ miles of trails, numerous playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic shelters, outdoor pools, a beach, horseshoe courts, ball and soccer fields, basketball courts, dog parks, sand volleyball courts, an archery range, cross country ski trails. The city is home to 16 elementary schools, 8 secondary/high schools, 7 parochial schools and 1 private school. There are also opportunities for advanced education at one of the 10 colleges and universities that offer advanced degrees.
