Job Description

BE/BC Internal Medicine physician needed in Portland, Oregon. Opportunity to join a private practice, single specialty, incorporated internal medicine group located on hospital campus. They have two separate office suites, which have separate physician and office staffs, but they share a corporate business office with a staff of five, and a full service lab and limited x-ray unit with a bone density scanner. Each suite currently has five physicians. Seeking a recently trained internist, but would consider an experience physician within 10 years of residency. BC/BE. ABIM certification required. A moderate degree of involvement in running the operated business is required. Each physician has scheduled office hours seven hours per day four days per week with a full day off. They care for their own patients in the hospital, but the hospital work is light with an individual physician census averaging 0-2 patients and weekend rounds on 3-5 patients. Call is rotated equally 1:5 and every fifth weekend. Paperless records.
