Job Description

Internal Medicine physician needed in Michigan. Seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join a multispecialty medical group of primary and specialty care physicians. Visa and new graduate candidates are encouraged to apply. Employed position. Full time traditional office practice rotating as a hospitalist when on call. Office located in professional medical building attached to hospital. Hospitalist duties include caring for inpatients, ED consults, stress testing and various hospital procedures as needed. Not required to see patients in the office when on call. Call is 1 in 4 or 5 weeks - Monday through Sunday call week. Salary is $150,000. 2 year salary guarantee with option to convert to incentive formula based on medical productivity. Physician may elect to convert at any time during the guaranteed period of their contract to the incentive based salary or will be phased in at the end of the 2 yr period. Physicians working under incentive based salary are eligible for on-call per diem. Relocation assistance available. The hospital recently completed a major renovation of the outpatient service areas which include an expanded radiology department with the first open bore MRI unit in Michigan, an expanded Rehabilitation Services department, an all new Intensive care and Ambulatory Care unit, along with four new surgical procedure rooms.
