Job Description BE/BC Pulmonary/Critical Care physician needed in south central Maine. Seeking a pulmonary physician to join an active pulmonary/sleep medicine practice. Opportunity for directorship of the respiratory therapy, sleep lab, and pulmonary function lab. There will be three days a week of protected time for office patients, administrative work, programmatic development, specialty clinics, and teaching. Three of four weekends per month would be covered by a pulmonary doc. Significant opportunity for a third physician to develop and grow interests. Excellent ancillary staff and an extremely progressive work environment, locally developed clinical pathways, evidence-based medicine used in ICU, modern bronchoscopy and radiology equipment, and a high quality sleep lab. We have a strong desire to develop a formal thoracic oncology program.
