Job Description

BE/BC Pulmonologist needed in southeast Missouri. Seeking employed physician for hospital licensed for 269 beds, JCAHO approved, staffed with 90% RNs. Achieved MAGNET nursing status in 2004. Approximately 650 referring physicians with 250 physicians on our medical staff. Long-term guaranteed salary of $300,000 + WRVU production bonus, no overhead. Fully funded retirement plan, $15,000 signing bonus, relocation assistance, 29 days paid time off, paid malpractice and CME up to $5,500/yr + 10 days additional time off. Student loan repayment up to $175,000. Newly remodeled 4 bed pulmonary sleep lab equipped with the newest Vysis equipment. Pulmonary sleep lab is currently seeking accreditation from the AASM. 2 Registered Polysonographer Techs, plus additional support staff with an average of 20 years experience. Newly remodeled pulmonary function lab with 2 body boxes running 5 days per week. Bronchoscopy lab is staffed with endoscopy trained nurses. 14 bed ICU, 12 bed CTU: 67% of nurses are critical care certified. Patient to nurse ratio 2:1, 12 yrs average experience among nurses and 14 yrs among RNs.
