Job Description

Pulmonologist needed in western Virginia to grow a pulmonary practice with autonomy and full support of hospital administration and the medical staff. Be sufficiently reimbursed for your practice and have an excellent balance between work and the rest of life. Practice in only one hospital and support the community as a solo practitioner. Support the ICU staff and physicians/hospitalists in a consulting role. Will not be responsible for extensive hospital call and will be a resource for physicians covering inpatient census. Perform sleep studies in the hospitals two sleep labs. Strong referral system with a defined need. Primary draw area of 35,000 and a secondary draw of 92,000. Hospital will work to support growth based on physicians needs through capital equipment purchases.
