Job Description

BE/BC Dermatologist needed in northern Michigan to join a multispecialty group of primary and specialty care physicians. Seeking general Dermatologist to establish a new practice with the support and benefits associated with an exceptional hospital. This full time general office practice offers an excellent potential for growth and can include Mohs surgery or cosmetic interests as an addition. Physicians have the option of a hospital employed position with 2 year guaranteed salary and option to convert to RVU incentive based pay at any time, or they can choose to set up a private practice with some assistance and income guarantees provided by the hospital. The service area expands well beyond the two county area that the hospital services, and with only a handful of Dermatologists available in northern Michigan, several of which are nearing retirement age, this is an excellent site to establish a high volume practice. Full benefits, relocation assistance available, interview travel reimbursed. Residents from all over northern Michigan come to this city for shopping, recreational activities and healthcare needs. The area is home to over 21 scenic golf courses, and is surrounded by numerous lakes and woodlands which provide four season outdoor recreational activities including snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, and biking.
