Job Description Internist or Family Practice Physician needed in great Alaskan community of 100K population. Perfect for anyone who loves the great outdoors and a strong medical community. Hospital is part of a large healthcare system that is always competitive. Area offers theater, arts, universities, and symphony. Hospital has 165 beds with 140 physicians on staff. Representing over 20 specialties. No managed care, state income tax, or sales tax, with far above average reimbursement. The incoming IM or FP physician will have the option to join an existing practice or establish an independent practice. In either option, the new physician will receive the strong support of the hospital and medical community. A recently conducted analysis indicated the need for 8 additional physicians. New physician will be as busy as they want to be in a very short period of time.
