Job Description Searching for a full time Pharmacy Director for psychiatric hospital in northern Texas. This is a small hospital that specializes in providing individualized care for each patient and their families. The department consists of the director of pharmacy, 2 technicians, and 2 PRN pharmacists. The director of pharmacy will have complete operational oversight of the pharmacy and will be the Chair of the Pharmacy Committee as well as sitting on the Medical Executive board. This position will allow for upward movement and growth within the organization and will give you the autonomy and flexibility that you need to run your department effectively. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in a hospital pharmacy, be TJC and CMS savvy, have experience working with JCAHO standards and patient safety goals, have an active TX pharmacy license, and have assertive, proactive, and innovative management skills.
