Job Description

BE/BC Internal Medicine physician needed in coastal Oregon to join 13 Internal Medicine physicians. Our opportunity offers both inpatient as well as outpatient care. If you like the hospital work, call is there for you. Some of our physicians are having one of their partners cover their call. We want to accommodate our physicians medically and personally. Replacing retired physicians. Physician owned. Physicians are in solo practice with share overhead in a multispecialty clinic. Partnership track. Physician-cooperative that provides ancillary services to run your practice. This includes accounting, administration, billing, collections, transcription, medical records, lab, x-ray, CT, MRI and in-house day surgery. Partnership in two years. No out of pocket buy-in. Very cohesive group, each physician runs their office practice by setting their own schedule and most work most work 4 to 4.5 days a week, 1:13 call, and hire their reception and clinical assistant. Each physician has three exam rooms and their own office. Very little managed care and the Medicaid patients are well managed under the Oregon Health Plan. It is two years until partnership in this multispecialty clinic. You will have full voting rights from day one. Hospital has more than 1,000 employees with 120 physicians on its medical staff and is governed by a five member Board of Directors who are elected officials. They offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic Day Surgery services. The hospitals inpatient and outpatients services include medical, surgical, mental health, pediatric, critical care, home health.
