Job Description

Dermatologist needed full time in the upper part of the Lower Peninsula in Michigan to establish a new practice. On call 15 days a month, self determined schedule. Mohs surgeon would be considered in combination with general dermatology. Patients currently wait months and travel long distances for dermatology services. Closest Mohs surgeon is 1.5 to 2 hours away. Competitive salary retirement program - 2 yr salary guarantee with option to convert to RVU incentive based salary at any time. Pension w/ 2% employer match, 403B Tax deferred annuity, 457B. Top hat annuity also available. Insurance package, loan assistance. Supplemental health, life, long and short term disability, professional liability, medical discounts. Negotiable: Liability insurance, sign-on-bonus. Modified claims made-group coverage/not individual - tail coverage is provided automatically as long as the hospital continues the policy with the company. Negotiable: CME/dues, license allowance, $5200 and 5 CME days a year, paid time off, 20 days a year combined sick, vacation, personal, paid holidays - 6 per yr, relocation expense allowance - up to $7500. The right dermatology candidate is defined as board certified Dermatologist. In practice ten or less years. Willing to perform primarily general dermatology services; other interests will be considered as an addition. Willing to assist in the set up and future expansion of services.
