Job Description North Carolina Pulmonologist. The applicant must be a BC/BE Intensivist/Pulmonologist with strong clinical and procedural skills in all facets of critical care. This is an academic position at a single institution and applicants should qualify for appointment at the assistant or associate professor level. The candidate will be active in rounding with a multidisciplinary team including fellows and medicine house staff as well as coordinating administrative and quality assurance duties. The person will be encouraged/expected to initiate and engage in scholarly activities including clinical trials, outcomes studies, as well as participate in translational research studies involving an established pulmonary biology laboratory.
