Job Description

Ob/Gyn needed in near San Francisco. Opportunity to join a turn-key hospital based practice in northern California, driving distance from San Francisco. There is currently one Ob/Gyn in the practice with 3 CNMs who provide coverage for the underserved population. This is a unique position as the new physician will come on as an independent contractor. Income and benefits will be provided by the hospital but the new physician will have to pay their own taxes 1099. The schedule is quite flexible as the hospital has laborists who can handle as many deliveries as the new physician would like. Thus call, is basically what ever the new physician wants to do. Office hours are 8:30 - 5. Each physician works a 4 day work week and again, call is up to the physician. The more babies delivered, the more money they make. Hospital has full NICU and specialists available. Schedule for the right physician can be filled very quickly.
