Job Description

Orthopedic Surgery job for California. Opportunity for an experienced BC Orthopedic Surgeon to run a clinical orthopedics practice for a community hospital in northern California. Located halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento, the client is a not-for profit healthcare organization operating multiple hospitals and several primary care and specialty practices in the local communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Just 30 minutes from beautiful Napa, 45 minutes from the city of San Francisco and 35 minutes from Oakland, CA. Several compensation options are available for the clinical practice depending on the desire of the candidate. The options range from hospital based clinic to independent practice. The client is offering a very competitive financial support package. Emergency Department call coverage is not required. This client one of the few remaining independent non-profit hospital systems in northern California and operates multiple hospitals with 180 plus beds. This client has been strategically growing and building on its strong reputation since its beginning. The orthopedics practice will be located in a building on the client campus which also houses an outpatient imaging center, the Center for Pain Management and Occupational Health practice. The client has established a Total Joint Program which has effectively reduced length of stay, improved patient outcomes, and allows orthopedic surgeons to complete multiple procedures in a day. Orthopedic hospitalists provide emergency coverage, inpatient and follow up care for unassigned patients. Competitive salary DOE and relocation will be discussed with serious candidates.
