Job Description

Vascular Surgeon job for Mississippi. Seeking to employ a full time BC/BE General/Vascular Surgeon. The perfect candidate will be a General Surgeon/Vascular Surgeon, but we will also consider General Surgeons who can do access and shunts. There is the potential for the practice to grow to a 50% general and 50% vascular practice. Salary ranges from 320K to 412K based on experience. In addition, the physician can earn a productivity bonus based on achieving productivity goals. This position meets all of the criteria for a J-1 visa waiver through the Delta Regional Authority. A lucrative signing or student loan repayment bonus is negotiable, with a premium for those who can start soon. Benefits include fifteen vacation days, five CME days/$3,500 allowance; paid malpractice; optional group health, dental, and vision insurance; and 401k. The package also includes a relocation moving allowance with a house-hunting trip. This is a 101 bed general, acute care facility which the market consists of 3 Mississippi counties and 2 Louisiana counties located just over the river, with a total market population of 85K. The city is located in southwest Mississippi and sits on the banks of the Mississippi River with a population of 18K. To the south, New Orleans is about three hours away, and Baton Rouge is about two hours. Alexandria, Louisiana, is about two hours to the west and to the north includes Monroe, Louisiana, and Jackson, Mississippi, both approximately two hours away.
