Job Description

Orthopedic Surgeon job in Iowa. Seeking BC/BE Ortho Surgeon to join MSG of 25 physicians and 9 extenders, which includes FP, OBGYN, PEDS, IM, UC, GS, ENT, OS, Occupational Medicine. All are BC in their specialty. 1:4 call rotation. The position offers a guaranteed base salary of 600K with the opportunity to earn a production bonus. 32 days of paid time-off is provided. The relocation package includes moving expenses. A generous signing bonus is offered. Other benefits include malpractice, health, dental, disability, life insurance, and 401K. The clinic is subsidiary of an integrated health system located in the area of Muscatine and is attached to the hospital, an 80 bed JCAHO accredited facility. Hospital boasts a brand new, state of the art surgery center with six operating rooms. An ICU, air ambulance service, and full time contract emergency medicine coverage are also provided. A charming Mississippi riverfront community rich in culture and history, the area is located in southeast Iowa on the Great River Road, approximately 25 miles from Davenport, Iowa and approximately 30 miles from Iowa City, Iowa, the home of the University of Iowa. This communitys century-old business district, complete with its very own trolley, offers a variety of antique, quaint specialty shops, and art galleries. Area boasts of an excellent size 4A school system, one of the best in the state both in academics and sports. Home to 22 parks and recreational areas, the recreational offerings include parks with incredible river views. The Muscatine Municipal Golf Course is rated by Fodors Golf Digest as the top value course in Iowa.
