Work Experience
Demonstrate ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate multiple activities and functions; current NY State nursing license/registration required; Master's Degree required; Doctorate preferred; 2-4 years proven experience and expertise in project management and/or educational position, or as a magnet coordinator; certification in nursing administration (ANA) preferred; computer software, knowledge and skills; evidence of competency in clinical quality planning, measurement and improvement; evidence of skilled communication (written, verbal and group process).

Job Description

Large ENT and Ophthalmology facility in New York is seeking a Director of Nursing Education, Quality, Research and Magnet Programs. The position will be responsible for the overall operation of these programs and assist the SVP and Clinical Operations/CNO in accomplishing nursing objectives. Responsibilities include: assure data collection for the Magnet program; collaborate with Nursing Councils and assist in their endeavors; provide leadership, exhibit initiative, innovation and creativity. Qualifications include: Demonstrate ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate multiple activities and functions; current NY State nursing license/registration required; Masters Degree required; Doctorate preferred; 2-4 years proven experience and expertise in project management and/or educational position, or as a magnet coordinator; certification in nursing administration ANA preferred; computer software, knowledge and skills; evidence of competency in clinical quality planning, measurement and improvement; evidence of skilled communication written, verbal and group process.
