Job Description

Nurse Manager of Surgery job in Galveston, Texas. Oversee General Surgery/Trauma, CT/Vasc/Cardiology, Neurosurgery and Neurology. Supervise 70+ employees within these units. Candidate must be RN with Masters degree in Nursing. Preference is for 5 years clinical experience in a related field: Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, 3 years of progressive management experience i.e. Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Administrator, or Assistant Nurse Manager and 3 years Nursing Management experience. Current Texas license and certification in Nursing specialty or administration required. Must have a specialty certification such as CNOR, CPAN, CCRN, CMSRN, etc. Salary of $70,264-$115,936 and full benefits package. Work primarily days. This position is highly urgent. Located on the coastline of Texas just 50 miles south of Houston. 32 miles of beaches, relaxed atmosphere, abundant leisure activities, excellent medical facilities, first-rate restaurants, cultural activities, shopping and housing.
