Job Description

Director, Business Operations and Services. An extraordinary opportunity for a hands-on medical and financial services professional, for a three location clinic practice, combining medical and radiation oncology, needed in the South Puget Sound area of Olympia, Washington. This position reports to the physician managers. The client is a 7 physician group of practitioners, with two mid-level providers. This person directs and coordinates the overall functions of the business office to ensure maximization of cash flow while improving patient, physician and other customer relations. Plans and directs registration, patient insurance, billing and collections and data processing to ensure accurate patient billing and efficient account collection with a current staff of eight people. The successful candidate must have the demonstrable controller experience to perform the work required in this position. You will supervise, train, orient and evaluate performance over assigned personnel. Additionally, the successful candidate will advise the physicians on best case business operations and financial matters relating to the profitability of the practice. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS ONCOLOGY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, not negotiable. The salary is open for the right candidate, commensurate with education and experience.
