Work Experience Pharmacy manager
Job Description Pharmacy Manager needed in the Phoenix, AZ, area full time for hospital setting. Performs duties of hospital staff Pharmacist as directed by the Director of Pharmacy. Interprets physician medication orders for appropriateness. Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, the pharmacy manager coordinates the scheduling and efforts of Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Techs. Mentors new and less experienced staff and students. Uses policy and procedure manuals and other reference material to ensure proper course of action. Provides consultative services to medical nursing and pharmacy staff. Requires 2-5 years experience. Full time day schedule with possible call. Salary of $90-130K with full benefits. Need is immediate.
