Job Description

Medical center in beautiful area of southern Oregon is seeking an Education Director. The medical center is part of a not-for-profit health system that owns 2 hospitals with combined 450+ beds. The Director Educational Services will be responsible for the planning, coordination and evaluation of the Management Development; the coordination and evaluation of new employee orientation content, format and documentation; the planning activities to meet Joint Commission Human Resource standards; coordination and evaluation of non-clinical staff development programs, including customer relations; coordination of utilization and up keep of a health education center as well as planning and development of student experiences. Requirements include: RN, Masters Degree in a healthcare related field; 8-10 years progressive experience in management and leadership; 5 years of recent experience in Education, including directing and implementing education programs; must have extensive background in written oral and interpersonal communications; strong ability to plan, organize and coordinate educational programs; joint commission knowledge; career ladder experience and knowledge of both clinical and non-clinical areas. Salary is $70K to $100K depending on experience. Full benefits.
