Work Experience
Must be a graduate of an accredited program of
professional nursing. BSN preferred. Must possess
current license as a Registered Nurse from the State
of Virginia. BLS required. In addition to the BLS
requirement, the follows Units require the following
certifications: OB requires NRP. Pediatrics requires
PALS. Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience.
Minimum 3 years specialty nursing experience. Minimum
2 years management experience.

Job Description

NICU Nurse Manager RN job in Virginia. This position is responsible for managing all day to day activities of the service and supporting the associates who are providing care. In collaboration with the Director, the Nurse Manager is responsible for leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals. This position will assist the Director and Education Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Specialist where applicable in maintaining the highest degree of clinical and operational performance of the service. This position is accountable for daily operational activities on a 24 hour basis. This position must demonstrate a commitment of quality, cost effective, customer focused service to patients, physicians, the public and co-workers. Salary starting between 72K-122K plus bonus and relo assistance. Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
