Job Description

Emergency Medicine physician needed in Illinois. Healthcare system is now offering new employment and independent contractor opportunities for emergency medicine physicians. Emergency medicine physicians are supported by experienced staff with advanced-training, 24/7 coverage by anesthesiologists, a new hospitalist program and the latest in technology including all digit imaging and archiving with 64-slice CT scanning, MRI, and PET. You will be living in beautiful southern Illinois, a hidden treasure in Americas heartland. The region dotted with accessible lakes nestled in the great hardwoods in the hills. It is rich with state parks where there is boating and sailing, fishing, hiking and rock climbing, winding horse trails and miles of cycling paths. Music festivals and local fairs are numerous and there are many historical attractions, unique shops and towns and fine restaurants with local and international cuisine. Local shopping includes many quality, national stores and, in southern Illinois, you are within driving distance of St. Louis, Nashville, and Memphis.
