Job Description An Emergency Medicine physician is needed in Virginia. This is an independent contractor arrangement with the 170 bed hospital. There are 2 FT and a number of local PCPs providing the coverage for 12 hour shifts/12-14-shifts per month. Electronic medical record equipped. 13,000 annual volume. Base salary to start at $110.00 per hour. Stable support staff. No Trauma designation. WINGS Med-E-Vac Helicopter service 20 minutes. Three Level 1 trauma centers within 20-25 minutes by air. Located in a small city in southwest Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Close to the Tri Cities of TN with a population of 350k.
