Job Description

Pulmonary/Critical Care job in Kansas City, Missouri, area. Partnership opportunity with three top-flight medical specialists at regional medical center; a progressive 350 bed acute care hospital and level II trauma center. 100+ member, physician led multispecialty group is offering exceptional pulmonary critical care physicians the opportunity to join a thriving practice located within 30 minutes of an international airport. Practice a full array of critical care, pulmonary and sleep medicine in a state-of-the-art 21 bed ICU, 6 bed sleep lab and beautifully appointed office adjacent to the hospital. Sleep training/certification is desired, but not required. The caseload is heavy; the case mix is complex; growth potential is excellent and the opportunities for well-trained specialists are outstanding. The goal is to build a busy, four person practice with a 50/50 blend of multi-disciplinary critical care and pulmonary medicine. Partners rotate responsibilities and clinical coverage; working one week in the hospital, one week in the office, one week in the ICU and taking one week off. Compensation package includes competitive salary with full benefits package including base salary well above national average, RVU based productivity bonus, sign on bonus, outstanding benefits package including, $150,000 student loan assistance, malpractice insurance, family medical and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, 6 weeks vacation/CME, professional dues and CME stipend, 401 k plan and relocation.
