DIRECTOR OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE and DETOX needed for CALIFORNIA ADDICTIONS TREATMENT FACILITY:
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Detox in California for a successful for-profit Residential Detoxification Facility. We are seeking a Substance Abuse and Detox Director with STRONG supervisory background in a facility with at least 100 beds. You MUST have the knowledge and experience to meet all federal, state and local laws with professional ethics.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in a large facility or unit that has dealt primarily with addictions experience and detoxification.
2. LMHC or LCSW preferred.
3. CPR, AED, & First Aid certification required.
4. CAC, CAS, CAP Preferred.
5. Working knowledge of state established program standards and regulations (i.e. 65 D-30 Substance Abuse Regulations and knowledge of substance abuse detoxification protocols and best practices).
6. Must have a comprehensive understanding of group skills, facility safety.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree (equivalent combination of experience / education will be considered).

SALARY and BENEFITS:
$75,000 - $85,000 (or more) per year, based on experience, plus full benefits. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide specialty care and services operating in the Residential Detoxification and Residential Services as well as our other affiliate companies, (i.e. physical withdrawal protocols, follow up care, etc.).
2. Annually review / revise infection control policies and emergency medical plan coordinating with the Chief Compliance Officer.
3. Participate in our quality assurance activities, and assist the company in transitioning to conform to national accreditation standards.
Collaborate with other health care providers to discuss client care.
4. Practice the most current safety and health code standards and be responsible for training nursing staff.
