CHIEF QUALITY OFFICER needed in MONTANA:

Our 100+ bed hospital, based in a semi-rural location near Clinton, Montana is seeking a Chief Quality Officer to be responsible for development and measurement of quality/performance improvement(PI) and patient safety. The CQO must be a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of hospital experience including significant clinical service line experience with Quality / Performance Improvement.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities will include development and expansion of a comprehensive quality and PI program, directing and coordinating quality and PI initiatives, and participating in the development, education, monitoring, reporting and improvement of activities related to hospital guidelines. The position will report to our CEO with a dotted line to our Corporate CQO.



SALARY, ANNUAL BONUS and other BENEFITS:

Salary is dependent on experience, plus bonus potential. Full benefits and relocation assistance will also be offered.



MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSN required; with Master's Degree preferred
  • CPHQ or CPPI.

  • At least 5 years' experience in hospital setting including clinical service line with PI and Quality


  • Performance improvement experience mandatory.

  • Should have experience in utilization and case management, infection control, education and medical staff services regulations and requirements.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The CQO will work with external agencies and stakeholders related to quality/PI.

  • Oversee investigation and reporting of events as required by regulatory agencies and serve as liaison in PI efforts related to medical safety.

  • Collaborate to investigate care concerns, and maintain PI data that facilitates identification of trends and lead efforts to improve outcomes through proactive management of key outcomes metrics.
