PFS DIRECTOR needed for HOSPITAL in ARIZONA:
Our hospital in southern Arizona is seeking an experienced Director of Patient Financial Services with proven leadership experience and significant background in hospital billing and collections. This role a minimum of 5 years' experience in hospital billing / collection services and physician billing practices.

SALARY and BENEFITS:
$70,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. Also enjoy full benefits and relocation assistance with this role.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Requires 5-7 years of experience in hospital billing / collection services, and physician billing practices.
2. Bachelor's Degree required.
3. Must be able to meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
4. Excellent working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid programs, managed care and third party billing as well as fair credit collection practices.
5. Must be a proven, hands-on leader with well-developed human relations and communication skills, to build good relationships with the executive team, physicians and leadership.
6. Requires strong, strategic decision-making skills, as well as solid financial analysis skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position reports to our CFO, and will be responsible for all aspects of patient accounting areas, including daily supervision of inpatient, outpatient, cashiering, collection, payment posting, follow-up activities, denials, underpayment agency assignments and oversight of out-sourced functions. This role will also ensure compliance with all aspects of billing, applicable regulations, and policies and procedures.
